At some point, we all lose it. Mine is 25 now (Peanut is all grown up!), and we can butt heads for sure. I will say that puberty was the worst. Goodness. Don't worry, I've got you during those years.

gosh, I remember teenage years between my mom and I. It was NOT FUN. Glad I’ll have you for those years :)

I’ve lost it MANY times. It’s hard not to feel guilty afterwards but we’re only human. Also…that scalp treatment looks intriguing. Maybe it will help with those pesky flyaways! 🤣 🤔

We’re definitely only human and trying our best :) and ooooh those flyaways, I have tons of those baby hairs going on.

I am reading this is the morning before anyone else is awake and OMG those million kid questions were triggering! haha kind of kidding, but it was so very relatable and often so very unnecessary, but yea sure let me do that for you too!

And congrats on 100! I love that cake- so fun and so supportive!

Thanks, Lindsey!! I’m glad I’m not the only one badgered with a million kid questions! and thankful to have met you through this space :)

First of all, "cut it out" is not the worst thing you could yell, but I get it. I know that pit in your stomach when you lose your temper on your favorite people. I'm just hopeful that there's a lesson to be learned for my kids when they hear me say sorry. I am regularly apologizing for being crabby or being wrong or being whatever, and I hope that their take away is that sometimes we screw up (even grown ups!) and when we do, we say sorry and carry on.

Hahaha if you had heard the tone of my yelling you might disagree 🤣 but totally, I hope I can model messing up, apologizing, and moving forward for them. We’re all human and just trying our best.

This really hit home. The overwhelm, the overstimulation, the exasperation…it’s like a ticking time bomb. It’s so important that we give ourselves grace in these moments (little reminder to myself) and always go back and repair with the kiddos. Big, giant hug your way.

Thank you!! It’s so hard, and so easy to get overwhelmed and frustrated. I do it a lot. Just trying to do better each time.

Thanks for commenting and for being here!

Congratulations on 100 episodes Bri! And let me tell you, those moments of losing it get a lot more frequent when you hit perimenopause...just saying...

Thanks, Melissa!! I’m so glad to have met and connected with you through this space. I can imagine teenagers + perimenopause makes for some frustrating moments lol. We’re all just doing our best with what life throws our way.
