Bravo Bri! I wholeheartedly agree with everything you express here about the painful difficulties of raising children in this version of America. I'm very aware that even though I'm also first generation, my white privilege and German last name largely insulate me from ICE...for now. If we don't all speak out and demand change, eventually they will come for us too. America is for ALL of us, and we must take it back from these white supremacists before it's too late.
