Love this so much. Some things change, some things stay the same. One of the best feelings is when something random happens that makes you feel like young siblings again. Little short lived reminders that feel nostalgic and comfortable. A few weeks ago, my big sister and I drove somewhere together (without kids!) and of course she drove because she's the big sister. Ace of Base was on the radio and it was like we were 14 and 18 again!
I totally feel this! Sometimes when I go somewhere with my younger brother (who’s in his 30s now) I’m like wait?! You’re driving?! He’s still the little brother to me.
So glad you and your sister still have those moments together :)
Thank you for this reminder! I have had a rocky relationship with my sibling with me trying stuff to repair and nothing worked- rather made it worse. So I have accepted it for what it is for now. Hopefully after some healing time - it can get to something beautiful!
Hi Shradha, I'm so sorry about your rocky relationship. I hope one day it's able to heal and be something beautiful. Thank you so much for your vulnerability and for sharing.
